It serves as a specialized ecosystem tailored for fashion designers, stylists, and style creators We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Social Media Intern Location : Akerele Street, Surulere, Lagos Employment Type: Contract - 6 months (Open to renewal; 2-month probation period) Reports to: Social Media Manager Job Summary Seeking a visually talented Social Media Intern to take ownership of the aesthetic output of content, working closely with the Social Media Manager and growing into greater responsibility over time. Essential Functions Content Creation & Visual Design: Write engaging captions tailored to target audiences and aligned with the brand voice. Collect and log customer feedback and ratings, escalating concerns to the supervisor. Design and produce visually engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms (photos, reels, carousels, stories, videos, and posts). Ensure all published content adheres strictly to the MNIKS brand identity and visual aesthetic. Track emerging trends in fashion, AI, tech, design software, and social media to drive content innovation. Support and progressively lead photoshoots, content styling, and fashion marketing campaigns alongside PR, Sales, and Marketing teams. Curate and maintain a visual mood board and reference library for brand consistency. Community Engagement: Assist in monitoring and responding to direct messages, comments, and inquiries under the guidance of the Social Media Manager. Document customer feedback, questions, and complaints, flagging urgent matters promptly. Scheduling, Posting & Collaboration: Maintain and update the editorial content calendar in coordination with the Social Media Manager. Review performance metrics with the Social Media Manager to refine and adjust content strategies. Plan, schedule, and publish approved content across multiple channels (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, newsletters). Administrative & Cross-Functional Support: Provide administrative support, including digital file management, scheduling, and email coordination. Utilize AI-powered productivity tools to manage calendars, workflow tasks, and project deadlines. Support live-stream sessions, virtual fittings, online client consultations, and on-site activations. Maintain professional communications with influencers, collaborators, vendors, and clients. Draft blog posts, newsletters, and promotional links while organizing digital assets. A Typical Day: Join the morning alignment meeting with the Operations Manager, Hub Manager, and Marketing Team to review daily targets, research insights, and campaign strategies. Manage community interactions, respond to comments and direct messages, and facilitate online sales inquiries. Create, edit, and publish high-quality visual content showcasing new products and hub activities. Update digital archives, write blog or newsletter content, and prepare assets for upcoming launches or events. Occasionally assist colleagues with garment reviews, workspace staging, or event setups. Coordinate with the Shop Manager on order fulfillment and customer feedback. Requirements: Essential: Must reside around Surulere or Yaba, or be able to commute easily to Surulere.
