The Wealth Manager will build and manage client relationships, identify prospects, and convert leads into long-term clients for Alert Group’s asset management and related financial products. Daily activities include assessing client financial goals, recommending suitable investment and wealth management solutions, and presenting tailored product offerings that align with risk profiles and return expectations. The role involves preparing proposals, conducting portfolio reviews, tracking market trends, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure excellent client service and regulatory compliance. The Wealth Manager will be expected to meet sales targets, maintain accurate records in CRM or relevant systems, and participate in networking events and presentations to grow the client base. Qualifications Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead conversion, and relationship management. Knowledge of wealth management, asset management, and investment products, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging high-net-worth and SME clients. Analytical and financial planning skills, including basic portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and market research. Proficiency with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and general digital productivity tools. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CIS, wealth management or sales certifications) are an advantage. Previous experience: in wealth management, asset management, banking, or financial services sales, preferably in Lagos or similar markets. Demonstrated integrity, client-centric mindset, ability to work towards targets, and collaborate effectively within a team.
