This is an opportunity to join a modern, multidisciplinary clinical environment committed to safe, effective and patient-centred care. The role involves providing senior nursing supervision within specialised nursing (chemotherapy, infusion, and radiotherapy-adjacent nursing), supporting nursing leadership, coordinating care, and supervising nursing staff. Responsibilities: Provide senior nursing leadership and supervision within the stream. Supervise, mentor and appraise nursing staff and support their development. Act as senior clinical resource for chemotherapy administration, extravasation management and toxicity escalation. Maintain accurate, complete and timely nursing records and apply infection-prevention and clinical-governance standards. Maintain valid NMCN registration/licence and MCPDP compliance, and comply with internal policies. Support coordination of infusion-suite scheduling with medical oncology, radiotherapy and pharmacy. Requirements: Experience: Substantial post-registration nursing experience. Minimum of 8 years of post-registration (NMCN) nursing experience, including experience: at Principal Nursing Officer grade or equivalent. Experience: supervising and supporting nursing staff within specialised nursing or comparable services. Experience: working within a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting relevant to specialised nursing. Education: Completion of any required orientation/internship and NYSC (for degree holders), or a valid exemption where applicable. Registered Nurse (RN) qualification from an accredited School/College of Nursing, or a Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc/BSc Nursing) from a recognised university. Required skills: Competence in nursing assessment, care planning and safe medication administration. Ability to lead, supervise and coordinate nursing staff within the stream. Understanding of patient safety, infection prevention and clinical governance. Accurate nursing record-keeping and competent use of clinical systems.Effective communication with patients, families and colleagues. Knowledge of nursing practice relevant to specialised nursing appropriate to the role.
