The Field Growth Officer (FGO) is a field-based commercial role responsible for supporting deployed POS terminals, improving merchant retention, ensuring optimal terminal performance, and driving merchant and POS network growth across an assigned territory. The role combines hands-on merchant support,performance monitoring, new merchant acquisition, and reactivation of dormant terminals. This is a high-upside opportunity. High-performing FGOs who consistently drive transactions, reactivate terminals, and onboard quality merchants can earn up to N300,000 in total monthly earnings. Key Responsibilities: Merchant Support & Retention: Proactively engage merchants to reduce churn and improve terminal utilisation. Educate merchants on best practices to increase transaction volumes. Provide timely field and remote support to assigned merchants. Serve as the first point of contact for merchants within the assigned territory. Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Identify underperforming or dormant terminals and take corrective action. Monitor assigned terminals using the Company’s transaction and terminal dashboards. Track transaction volumes, uptime, and inactivity trends. Field Operations & Reporting: Conduct routine field visits to merchant locations. Submit required activity, support, and performance reports. Escalate unresolved issues within defined timelines Merchant & Agent Acquisition: Support terminal deployment and go-live activities. Conduct required KYC, documentation, and activation processes. Source, onboard, and activate new merchants and POS agents. Team Collaboration & Continuous Learning: Complete required product and learning programmes
