We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Floor Supervisor Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: Shift-based Job Summary We are seeking experienced and customer-focused Floor Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar floor. The Floor Supervisor will serve as a key point of contact between management, service staff, kitchen, bar, and customers, ensuring that operations run efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring smooth service, managing front-of-house staff, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and coordinating restaurant and bar activities during their assigned shifts. Key Responsibilities: Monitor cash handling and POS procedures where applicable. Monitor stock and supplies required for front-of-house and bar operations and report shortages when necessary. Support management in maintaining smooth operations during busy periods and special events. Supervise and coordinate waiters, servers, hosts/hostesses, bartenders, and other front-of-house staff. Ensure excellent customer service and a positive dining experience: for guests. Prepare or submit shift reports and communicate important operational issues to management. Monitor table service, order flow, food and beverage delivery, and overall service efficiency. Assist with training and onboarding of new front-of-house employees. Oversee daily operations across the restaurant and bar floor during assigned shifts. Manage table allocation, reservations, guest seating, and customer flow where applicable. Ensure the restaurant's service standards and overall customer experience: are consistently maintained. Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and guidance where necessary. Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, appearance, and adherence to service standards. Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate daily operational priorities to the team. Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service. Ensure proper adherence to restaurant policies, operational procedures, and health and safety standards. Handle customer complaints, requests, and service issues professionally and promptly. Ensure the restaurant and bar floor remain clean, organized, and properly set up throughout each shift. Requirements: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven experience: managing front-of-house staff in a restaurant, bar, lounge, or similar hospitality environment. Excellent customer service and people-management skills. Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, public holidays, and assigned shifts. Minimum of 3 years' experience: in a Floor Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or other relevant managerial / supervisory position. Good knowledge of restaurant service standards, hygiene, and safety practices. Strong understanding of restaurant and bar floor operations. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience: in restaurant, hospitality, or food service operations. Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
