We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Chief Financial Officer Location: Lekki phase 1, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Summary We are looking for a strategic, results-driven, and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and oversee the organization's finance function. The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership, deliver accurate and timely financial reports to executive management and other stakeholders, and support the achievement of the organization's long-term business objectives through effective financial governance and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing robust financial and operational strategies, ensuring sound financial planning and reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving effective risk management. Job Responsibilities: Ensure that CCP complies with all legal and regulatory requirements. Construct and monitor reliable control systems. Plan, allocate and assess resource and individuals’ performance in accordance with skills and schedules for all finance related tasks. Manage the accounting, business performance, tax and treasury elements of the Department. Coordinate the preparation of the corporate Annual Report. Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors. Protect and preserve corporate assets through the application of globally consistent costing and control techniques which are in accordance with IFRS. Understand and mitigate key elements of CCP's risk profile. Participate in conference calls with the investment community. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements: of government and regulatory agencies. Oversee issuance of financial information & report on financial results to the Board of Directors. Manage any outsourced financial activities / relationships. Develop performance measures that support the Group's strategic direction. Maintain banking relationships and represent the Group with investors. Maintain relations with external auditors, investigate their findings and recommendations. Plan, monitor and oversee the financial operations of CCP’s finance services. Design and implement financial strategies, plans and procedures. Requirements: Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. personal productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & accounting software. Strong financial and management accounting, tax and treasury management skills. Good organizational and management skills. Diligent with strong attention to detail and sound decision making. Written and oral communication. Forecasting, cost and budget management skills. A minimum of 10 years’ experience: in Accounting, Finance and Strategy. Senior Management. A good first degree in Accounting, Finance or any Social Sciences. MBA will be an added advantage. Associate membership of ICAN, ACCA, CPA or CFA designation is required. Up to date knowledge of accounting regulations. Ability to establish and meet deadlines.
