The successful candidate will work closely with HR and Finance to ensure efficient payroll operations and excellent employee service. Key Responsibilities: Support salary reviews, compensation analysis, and benefits: administration. Ensure compliance with applicable tax, pension, labour laws, and company policies. Manage employee benefits: administration, including statutory and company-provided benefits. Process monthly payroll accurately and within established deadlines. Process PAYE, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions. Support internal and external payroll audits and compliance reviews. Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and employee compensation records. Prepare payroll reports and management information as required. Work closely with HR and Finance on new hires, exits, promotions, salary changes, and other employee movements. Administer employee salaries, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and other payroll adjustments. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, accuracy, and efficiency. Reconcile payroll reports, bank payments, and payroll-related accounts. Review payroll data and identify discrepancies, errors, and unusual transactions. Respond to and resolve employee payroll and benefits: queries. Job Requirements: Knowledge of Nigerian payroll, PAYE, pension, and statutory requirements. Experience: using payroll software/HRIS and advanced Excel. 3–5 years’ experience: in payroll administration, preferably within a structured organisation. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification in Accounting(ICAN), HR(CIPM), Payroll, or a related field is required. Proven experience: handling payroll, compensation, benefits, and statutory deductions. Essential Skills & Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HRIS systems. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Strong payroll processing and reconciliation skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good knowledge of PAYE, pensions, statutory deductions, and payroll compliance. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
