The role will be responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, managing investment portfolios, supporting liquidity and capital allocation decisions, monitoring financial markets and providing informed recommendations to senior management and the Family Office. The Investment Manager will oversee the Group’s investment activities while supporting the treasury and financial management requirements: of the organization and Family Office. Key Responsibilities: Prepare regular reports on investment performance, treasury positions, liquidity, risks and market opportunities for the Group MD/CEO and Principal. Ensure investment and treasury activities comply with approved policies, risk parameters, controls and applicable regulations. Develop investment recommendations based on risk, return, liquidity and the Group’s investment objectives. Coordinate external investment managers, advisers and other professional service providers where required. Manage treasury activities including liquidity monitoring, cash-flow forecasting and the deployment of surplus funds. Evaluate investment opportunities through financial analysis, valuation, market research and due diligence. Support capital allocation, financing and other strategic financial decisions across the Group. Provide investment and financial analysis to support the Family Office’s wealth management and investment decisions. Manage relationships with banks, brokers, asset managers, investment firms and other financial institutions. Monitor existing investments, portfolio performance, asset allocation, diversification and investment risks. Manage and monitor the Group’s investment portfolio and support the effective deployment of available capital. Monitor interest rates, inflation, foreign exchange, economic conditions and capital-market developments and assess their impact on investment and treasury decisions. Requirements: Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial and capital markets and investment products. Experience: managing investment portfolios and evaluating investment opportunities. Experience: managing relationships with banks, brokers, asset managers and other financial institutions. Previous experience: supporting a Family Office, private investment office, investment firm or high-net-worth principal is highly desirable. Proven experience: in financial modelling, valuation, investment research and due diligence. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline. Strong analytical, commercial and decision-making skills. 8–12+ years of relevant experience: in investment management and treasury, investment banking, asset management, corporate finance or related fields. Strong practical experience: in both investment analysis and treasury management. Strong understanding of liquidity management, cash-flow forecasting and capital allocation. High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality. ACA, ACCA or CFA qualification is strongly preferred.
