We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Content Creator Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-Time, on-site Objective To create compelling, and engaging content for Rise Networks' social media platforms, helping to grow our online community, increase brand visibility, and connect meaningfully our audience. Key Responsibilities: Plan, develop, and schedule content (text, images, videos, reels, carousels) across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and TikTok Create content that reflects the brand’s voice, resonates with the youth Stay on top of trends and challenges that can be adapted into Monitor audience feedback, respond to comments/messages, and track engagement metrics. Collaborate with designers, video editors, and marketing team to deliver cohesive campaigns KPI & Performance Metrics Reach and impressions per content type Growth in followers and engagement rates (likes, shares, saves, comments) Consistent posting and calendar execution Community feedback and responsiveness. Required Skills Awareness of youth culture, trends, and learning content dynamics Familiarity with analytics tools like Meta Insights, YouTube Studio, etc. Proven experience: creating content for social media (portfolio or samples required) Strong writing skills – smart, witty, and on-brand captioning Ability to turn creative briefs into platform-native content strategies Understanding of how to adapt tone, format, and message across platforms Basic video editing and mobile photography/videography is a strong plus. Excellent storytelling and writing skills tailored to digital platforms Familiarity with design tools (Canva, Adobe Express) and social media schedulers (Meta Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite) Collaboration & Approval Workflows: Reports to the Head of Operations and Creative Lead Content calendar and key posts must be reviewed and approved weekly. Collaborates with design, content, and campaigns team Quality Control Expectations: Zero tolerance for spelling/grammar errors or misinformation Timely adaptation of trending content with educational value.
