The Deputy Senior Manager, Transformation & PMO is the operational backbone of FoodCo's Transformation Office, responsible for ensuring disciplined execution of the enterprise transformation portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, the role drives governance, execution cadence, accountability, and value realization across strategic initiatives. Success is measured by enterprise value delivered, not projects completed. Strategic Mission To institutionalize FoodCo's transformation agenda by embedding world-class programme governance, execution discipline, and value realization, ensuring every approved initiative delivers measurable financial and operational impact. The role is not responsible for defining strategy, it is responsible for ensuring that strategy is executed with speed, discipline, and measurable business impact. Acting as the CTO's deputy, the incumbent provides leadership across steering committees, removes execution bottlenecks, and ensures transformation initiatives deliver measurable improvements in EBITDA, productivity, customer experience, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Identify opportunities to improve enterprise execution capability. Embed McKinsey-style execution discipline across all transformation initiatives. Conduct rapid diagnostics for delayed or underperforming transformation initiatives. Present transformation updates to Executive Committee and Board where required. Escalate delayed initiatives requiring executive intervention. Recommend governance improvements to the CTO. Ensure workstreams remain aligned with FoodCo's strategic priorities and transformation objectives. Conduct post-implementation benefit reviews. Establish and enforce enterprise PMO governance standards, methodologies, and reporting frameworks. Drive continuous improvement across PMO processes and project delivery. Require corrective action plans from initiative owners. Act as the Transformation Office's second-in-command during the CTO's absence. Recommend closure of underperforming initiatives. Escalate risks, delays, and decisions requiring executive intervention. Benchmark transformation practices against leading organizations. Build strong relationships across all business units to drive enterprise collaboration. Facilitate cross-functional workshops to resolve execution barriers. Standardize transformation methodologies and governance practices. Monitor realization of revenue growth, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and EBITDA enhancement. Challenge project plans, milestones, and delivery schedules. Escalate unresolved issues requiring executive intervention. Recommend portfolio reprioritization. Maintain a single source of truth for transformation performance metrics. Ensure consistent use of project management tools, templates, and governance processes. Monitor implementation of agreed recovery actions. Ensure transformation benefits: are reflected in operational performance and financial statements. Drive disciplined programme governance through structured weekly, monthly, and quarterly review cycles. Monitor portfolio health, interdependencies, risks, and execution capacity. Apply structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes. Ensure projects transition smoothly from Strategy & Growth into enterprise implementation. Maintain the enterprise transformation roadmap, prioritization framework, and implementation calendar. Develop recovery plans in partnership with initiative owners. Provide predictive insights to support executive decision-making. Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive transformation reports. Develop dashboards tracking portfolio performance, financial impact, risks, and execution health. Challenge initiative owners using objective performance data to maintain delivery momentum. Develop value realization dashboards and financial tracking mechanisms. Manage the end-to-end transformation portfolio across all strategic initiatives. Recommend portfolio reprioritization based on business impact and resource availability. Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and critical paths across all transformation initiatives. Partner with Finance to validate transformation benefits: against approved business cases. Facilitate executive decision-making through structured analysis and recommendations. Represent the Chief Transformation Officer at steering committees, executive reviews, and governance forums. Introduce digital tools to improve programme visibility and reporting.
