We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Aisle Attendant Location: By GTBank, Opposite AP Filling Station, Apo District - Abuja Employment Type: Full-time Start Date: Immediately Work Schedule: 15 days per month Job Summary The Aisle Attendant will be responsible for keeping assigned supermarket aisles well-organized, properly stocked, clean, and attractive to customers. The role involves arranging products, monitoring stock levels and expiry dates, assisting customers, and ensuring that products are correctly displayed and priced. Key Responsibilities: Remove expired, damaged, or defective products from display and report them. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned aisles. Assist in preventing product damage, wastage, and stock losses. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards. Assist with general supermarket duties when required. Check product labels, prices, and expiry dates regularly. Ensure products are displayed with the correct price tags. Arrange and replenish products on assigned shelves and aisles. Report missing, damaged, or misplaced products to the supervisor. Monitor stock levels and notify the appropriate supervisor when products are running low. Ensure products are properly arranged according to category and display standards. Monitor customer activity around assigned aisles and report any concerns. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and arranging new stock when required. Ensure shelves are properly stocked, neat, and well-organized. Assist customers in locating products and provide basic information about products. Support regular stock counts and inventory checks. Skills & Competencies Product knowledge Attention to detail Basic stock handling Customer service Ability to follow instructions Communication skill Product arrangement and merchandising Honesty and accountability Time management Requirements: Minimum of OND or higher is an advantage. Basic computer literacy is an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience: in a similar role Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision. Must be willing to work 15 days per month as scheduled. Physically able to stand and move around the store for extended periods. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively. Good organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Previous experience: as an aisle attendant, shop attendant, sales attendant, Honest, responsible, punctual, and trustworthy. merchandiser, or in a supermarket/retail environment. Good customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Salary N50,000 per month.
