The company manufactures and formulates crop protection chemicals, including pesticides and related agricultural products for the Nigerian and wider African markets. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Warehouse Keeper Location: Ibeju Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will ensure that all materials are properly stored, accurately accounted for, and readily available when required. The candidate will work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor, ERP Clerk, Procurement, Production, and other relevant departments. We are seeking a reliable, organised, and detail-oriented Warehouse Keeper to oversee the proper receipt, storage, arrangement, issuance, and control of materials and goods within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the warehouse is clean, organised, secure, and free from unnecessary obstructions. Receive and inspect incoming materials, goods, and equipment against relevant documentation. Ensure physical stock corresponds with warehouse records and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor. Properly arrange and store materials in their designated warehouse locations. Coordinate with the ERP Clerk to ensure all warehouse transactions are properly recorded in the system. Monitor stock levels and promptly report low-stock, excess, damaged, or expired items. Report damaged goods, stock discrepancies, safety hazards, or security concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor. Maintain proper documentation and filing of delivery notes, material issue notes, goods received notes, and other warehouse records. Follow company policies, warehouse procedures, and health and safety requirements. Perform other duties assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or management. Assist with regular physical stock counts and inventory reconciliation. Monitor the movement of materials within the warehouse and ensure unauthorised removal does not occur. Issue materials to authorised departments based on approved requests or documentation. Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, transferred, and returned. Support the loading and unloading of materials when required. Follow proper procedures for the storage and handling of heavy, fragile, hazardous, or sensitive materials. Ensure proper identification, labelling, and categorisation of all warehouse items. Maintain proper storage conditions to prevent damage, loss, deterioration, or contamination of materials. Requirements: Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems is an added advantage. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records. SSCE / WAEC / NECO, OND, or equivalent qualification. Good knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment. Experience: in receiving, storing, issuing, and counting materials. Good numerical and record-keeping skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet operational requirements. Honest, responsible, disciplined, and dependable. Basic computer literacy is required. Physically fit and able to handle warehouse-related activities.
