New Incentives – All Babies Are Equal Initiative (NI-ABAE) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Field Manager to support its childhood immunization program across selected states in Northern Nigeria. The Assistant Field Manager will support Field Managers in supervising Field Officers and ensuring effective implementation of the organization’s conditional cash transfer program at public health facilities. Job Summary The Assistant Field Manager will assist with the management of Field Officers working at public clinics. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality program operations, improving childhood immunization coverage and retention, supporting staff performance and maintaining effective relationships with healthcare workers, government stakeholders and communities. Job Type: Full-time Department: Operations Locations: Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara Experience: Level: Field/management experience: preferred Application Status: Open; rolling recruitment Key Responsibilities: The Assistant Field Manager will support the Field Manager in: Supervising and providing guidance to Field Officers. Ensuring high-quality implementation of cash transfer activities at public clinics. Monitoring immunization coverage and retention. Supporting Field Officers with clinic operations and beneficiary activities. Reviewing field activities and identifying operational challenges. Supporting the resolution and escalation of clinic and program issues. Maintaining strong relationships with clinic staff and other stakeholders. Supporting data collection, reporting and analysis. Ensuring proper handling and accountability of program funds. Supporting staff performance and providing leadership in assigned locations. Working closely with Field Managers and other operational teams. Performing field activities at remote public clinics and other assigned locations. Required Qualifications Minimum of National Diploma (ND) ; candidates with qualifications in Health, Natural Sciences or related fields are preferred. Candidates already based in Niger, Sokoto, Kebbi or Zamfara State are preferred. Willingness to relocate where necessary, particularly where the candidate has access to accommodation. Willingness to work at remote public clinics and field locations at least four days per week . Experience: with the Nigerian health system and clinic documentation, particularly infant health and vaccination services . Experience: collecting, synthesizing and interpreting health data is desirable. Strong financial management and accountability skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and reporting skills. Good managerial and leadership abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, smartphones, internet browsers and other digital communication technologies. Hard-working, results-oriented and dependable. Passion for improving health outcomes and reducing infant mortality. Language Requirements: English: Proficiency in conversation, reading and writing is required. Local Languages: Knowledge of Hausa, Nupe and/or other commonly spoken languages in Niger State is required/advantageous according to the advertised location. Knowledge of relevant local languages in other states of operation is an added advantage. Who Should Apply?
