Min Qualification: Degree Experience Level: Senior level Experience Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Grant & Fund Management: Track, monitor, and report on restricted funds and grants Ensure all expenditures align with donor regulations and approved budgets Monitor grant milestones and reporting timelines Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual organizational and project-specific budgets Prepare periodic cash flow forecasts Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Present financial reports to management and Board of Directors Simplify financial data for non-financial stakeholders Compliance & Audit Preparation: Coordinate annual external audits and tax filings Ensure compliance with GAAP and local regulatory requirements Maintain adherence to donor and tax-exempt guidelines Day-to-Day Accounting Operations: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes Manage payroll and financial controls Maintain and optimize accounting systems and chart of accounts Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of experience in non-profit finance, accounting, or grants management Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration ACA certification is required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with accounting or fund-accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) Strong understanding of donor regulations (e.g., UN, USAID, EU, or similar institutions) Soft Skills: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to collaborate across teams Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities Why Join Us: Opportunity to work within a mission-driven organization Direct impact on financial sustainability and program success Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment Remuneration: NGN 400,000 – 600,000 Monthly Net Application Note: Only qualified candidates with relevant NGO and grant management experience will be contacted.
