We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Security Guard Location: Okpella, Edo Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant Security Guard responsible for safeguarding company property, personnel, and visitors by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring assigned areas. The Security Guard will be tasked with conducting security checks, reporting suspicious activities, and assisting in emergency situations to ensure a safe environment across company facilities. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in enforcing compliance with safety and security policies. Maintain surveillance of premises using CCTV and other monitoring devices. Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and contractors. Patrol assigned locations to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unsafe conditions. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Sectional Heads. Write clear and concise reports on daily activities and irregularities. Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials, and maintain visitor logs. Support crowd control, access control, and emergency evacuation procedures as needed. Respond promptly to security alarms and incidents, reporting findings to supervisors. Requirements: Education: and Work Experience: Secondary School Certificate. Retired from any of the Nigeria Army Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force or Police). Minimum of three (3) years of experience: as a security guard, preferably in an industrial or large-scale facility setting. Skills and Competencies: Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends. Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods. Good observational and reporting skills.
