The ideal candidate should be confident in cutting, sewing, fitting, and finishing garments to a high standard. You should be able to work independently, follow designs and measurements accurately, and complete assigned outfits within agreed timelines. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Tailor / Fashion Designer to join a fashion business in Ajah Key Responsibilities: Ensure all completed outfits meet the required quality standards. Properly care for and maintain sewing machines and other tailoring equipment. Handle garment construction from cutting through to final finishing. Identify and correct sewing or fitting issues before garments are delivered. Carry out alterations and adjustments when required. Take accurate body measurements and ensure proper garment fitting. Work with different fabrics and garment styles. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Cut and sew garments according to measurements, designs, and specifications. Complete assigned orders within agreed production deadlines. Produce neat and professional stitches, hems, seams, zippers, buttons, and other finishing details. Minimize fabric wastage and use materials efficiently. Work collaboratively with other members of the production team. Requirements: Ability to take accurate measurements and achieve good garment fitting. Possess an HND with 2 - 3 years of practical tailoring experience. Must be able to conveniently commute to Badore, Ajah Ability to work with minimal supervision. Good knowledge of garment finishing techniques. Good work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to meet deadlines and production targets. Strong cutting and sewing skills. Preferred Skills: Experience: with ready-to-wear, women's clothing, traditional outfits, casual wear, or bespoke garments will be an advantage. N100,000 monthly.
