Read more about this company Inventory Officer Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 2 - 4 years Location Lagos Job Field Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain Key Responsibilities: Assist in ensuring all vehicles are properly washed, cleaned, and maintained in excellent display condition on a daily basis. Conduct daily physical inspection of vehicles to ensure inventory accuracy, cleanliness, proper documentation, and readiness for sale or movement. Support daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory verification exercises. Conduct periodic cycle counts and comprehensive inventory audits while investigating, documenting, and resolving stock discrepancies promptly. Assist with inventory movements including receiving, transfers, allocations, dispatches, vehicle releases, and supporting documentation. Verify inventory transactions against purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, gate passes, and supplier documentation to ensure complete accuracy. Maintain accurate inventory records within the Company's inventory management systems and ensure timely updates. Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory availability and efficient order fulfilment. Monitor inventory ageing, identify slow-moving vehicles, and escalate inventory concerns to Management. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for Management. Ensure compliance with Company inventory control procedures and internal policies. Perform any other lawful duties assigned by Management. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in Inventory Management, Stock Control, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain. Previous experience within the automobile industry is an added advantage. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and inventory reporting experience. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
