The Fleet Officer is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the company's vehicles and drivers to ensure that the fleet is safe, roadworthy, properly maintained, and available for operations. The role also involves monitoring vehicle movements, maintenance, fuel usage, documentation, and driver compliance. Key Responsibilities: Monitor drivers' compliance with company policies, speed limits, safety procedures, and operational instructions. Embark on rescue operations and vehicle recovery when required. Maintain accurate records of vehicles, maintenance, repairs, fuel, mileage, and related expenses. Track fuel consumption and investigate unusual or excessive usage. Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, damages, and other incidents to management promptly. Schedule and follow up on preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Track vehicle trips, breakdowns, accidents, delays, and other fleet-related incidents. Ensure vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and available for operations. Maintain an updated fleet database and provide regular fleet reports to management. Monitor vehicle faults and ensure repairs are promptly addressed. Monitor driver availability and ensure fleet performance targets are achieved. Monitor the daily activities and movement of company vehicles and drivers. Requirements: Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations. 2–4 years of experience: in fleet management, transport operations, logistics, or a related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic office applications. Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to operational issues. Good communication and coordination skills. Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations. Education: OND/HND/Bachelor's degree in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
