We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Sales Executive Location: Aba, Abia Employment Type: Full-time Descriptions The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue for the hotel by identifying new business opportunities, acquiring new clients, maintaining existing accounts, and promoting the hotel's accommodation, restaurants, conference facilities, banqueting, and other services. The role requires an energetic, articulate, commercially minded, and target-driven professional who can build strong relationships with corporate organizations, government institutions, travel agencies, event planners, and individual clients while representing the hotel's 5-star brand and service standards. Role Responsibilities: Sales and Revenue Generation: Promote hotel rooms, suites, restaurants, conference facilities, banqueting, and other services. Generate leads through cold calls, referrals, networking, client visits, events, and other sales channels. Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Convert qualified leads into confirmed bookings and business accounts. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase hotel revenue. Corporate Sales: Develop and maintain corporate accounts and business relationships. Present corporate rates, packages, and hotel services to prospective clients. Identify and approach potential corporate clients for accommodation and hospitality services. Schedule regular sales calls and visits to existing and prospective clients. Follow up consistently on proposals, quotations, and business opportunities. Client Relationship Management: Handle client enquiries and concerns professionally and ensure timely resolution. Understand clients' needs and recommend appropriate hotel products and services. Maintain regular communication with existing clients to encourage repeat business. Build strong and lasting relationships with clients and key decision-makers. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business opportunities. Business Development: Identify opportunities for partnerships that can generate additional business for the hotel. Develop opportunities within corporate, government, diplomatic, NGO, oil and gas, financial, aviation, and other relevant sectors. Research and identify potential markets and customer segments. Build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, event planners, conference organizers, and corporate travel managers. Hotel and Product Promotion: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all hotel facilities, room categories, restaurants, menus, conference facilities, packages, and special offers. Effectively communicate the hotel's unique selling points and luxury service offerings. Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, networking events, and industry functions. Conduct hotel tours and presentations for prospective clients. Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to increase the value of each client transaction. Promote room upgrades, premium accommodation, dining experiences, conference packages, banqueting, and other hotel services. Recommend appropriate packages based on clients' requirements: and budgets. Market and Competitor Analysis: Identify changes in customer preferences and market trends. Recommend strategies for improving the hotel's sales performance. Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and market positioning. Provide feedback to management on market opportunities and competitive developments. Sales Administration and Reporting: Ensure all sales documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Record sales activities, client visits, leads, proposals, and conversions. Monitor sales performance against assigned targets. Maintain an updated database of clients and prospects. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Internal Coordination: Ensure confirmed bookings and special client requests are properly handed over to the relevant departments. Follow up after service delivery to obtain feedback and encourage repeat business Work closely with Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Events, Finance, and other departments to ensure client requirements: are properly communicated and delivered. Requirements: Previous experience: in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, luxury hospitality establishment, or premium service environment is highly desirable. Experience: managing corporate accounts and securing high-value clients is an added advantage. Minimum of 3–5 years' experience: in sales, business development, corporate sales, or a related role. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Sales, or a related discipline. Experience: in corporate hotel sales is an added advantage. Competencies / Skills: Strong business development and lead-generation skills Knowledge of CRM and hotel management systems is an added advantage.
