Identify, prospect, and onboard financial institutions, fintechs, microfinance banks, cooperatives, and regulated financial service providers as clients. Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, solution pitching, proposal development, contract negotiation, and deal closure. Work closely with product, engineering, and implementation teams to tailor solutions to client needs and ensure successful deployment. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CEOs, CTOs, Heads of Operations, and Compliance teams. Drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, upselling, cross-selling, and renewals of software and managed service contracts. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, pricing strategies, and product positioning. Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets. Prepare and present detailed proposals, demos, and solution walkthroughs for clients. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management. Requirements: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience: in business development or enterprise sales within fintech, software, IT services, or financial technology consulting. Proven track record of selling software products or technology-enabled services to financial institutions. Strong understanding of core banking systems, digital payments, APIs, SaaS models, and financial technology infrastructure. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.
