This role leads the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex network infrastructure projects across fibre, wireless, IP, and optical transport technologies (DWDM/ROADM/OTN). Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Senior level Experience: Length: 5 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Project Management & Execution: Plan, schedule, budget, and execute ISP and carrier-grade network infrastructure projects. Manage network inventory, audits, and records for accurate planning and reporting. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, Customer Service) and external partners (vendors, contractors, regulators). Ensure compliance with NCC guidelines and relevant industry standards. Track project progress, prepare status reports, and escalate risks with mitigation plans. Oversee acceptance testing, commissioning, and seamless project handover. Feasibility & Planning: Conduct feasibility studies for new rollouts, expansions, and service provisioning. Review site surveys, network designs, technical viability, and cost–benefit analyses. Assess regulatory, financial, and operational risks before project initiation. Develop project proposals, timelines, and resource plans based on feasibility outcomes. Presales Support Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to validate customer requirements. Provide technical input during bid/tender preparation and client presentations. Develop technical proposals, cost estimates, and project timelines for prospective clients. Participate in solution design discussions and translate customer needs into actionable deliverables. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, and internal teams. Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and updates. Ensure contractual obligations are met and manage change requests effectively. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track KPIs including delivery timelines, cost adherence, and customer satisfaction. Provide management with dashboards, financial tracking, and project performance reports. Document lessons learned and integrate improvements into future project cycles. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage). Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience: in the telecom industry, including network engineering, network design, or similar roles. Required Certification: PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner Advantageous Certifications: Optical/transport networking certifications (Nokia NRS I/II, SRC; Huawei HCIA/HCIP-Transmission; Ciena; Infinera). ITIL Foundation. CCNP Service Provider or equivalent IP/MPLS certification. Certified Fiber Optic Technician / OTDR & fibre testing certifications (CFOT, ETA).
