Auldon limited is famously known internationally for pioneering the African Themed Unity Girls Dolls, a collection of 14-inch dolls, each representing Nigeria’s three major tribes which promotes cultural inclusion amongst Africans and her diaspora communities. The product is being created to deliver an empowering social message to girls around Nigeria and the world at large. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Assistant Accountant Job Location: Idumota, Lagos Island - Lagos Work Schedule: Mon - Fri (plus two Saturdays) Role Description The Assistant Accountant role at Auldon Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Lagos. The Assistant Accountant will support daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, updating ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities: include preparing basic financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and helping with month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, supporting audits, and collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information. The Assistant Accountant will work closely with the accounting team to uphold internal controls and compliance with relevant financial regulations. Qualifications Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) in progress or completed is an advantage. 3- 4 years of experience: in an accounting or finance support role, preferably in retail or FMCG, is beneficial. Strong skills in basic accounting, bookkeeping, and general ledger management. Ability to work with financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable processes. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data entry and analysis. Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and solid organizational and time-management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality in handling financial information, and willingness to learn and grow within the organization. Salary N250,000 / Month.
