Growth Representative Shipngrab Nigeria Limited Sales Today Easy apply New Featured Lagos Contract Retail, Fashion & FMCG NGN 250,000 - 400,000 Share link Share on WhatsApp Share on LinkedIn Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share via SMS Job summary We are engaging one Restaurant Growth Representative (field sales) in Lagos to open this market from zero. There is no existing customer list, no inbound pipeline, and no brand recognition yet. You build the route, you make the calls, you close the venues, and what works becomes the playbook we hire the next people against. You will lead the whole vertical. This is a street-level field sales role. You will be on your feet in Lagos restaurants, bars and bukas every working day, walking into venues you have no appointment with, and demonstrating a product on the owner's own phone while he is busy. If you are looking for a desk, a marketing role, or a job where leads come to you, please do not apply. Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Mid level Experience: Length: 3 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Contract - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Walk your assigned Lagos clusters and get in front of roughly 15 venues a day: restaurants, bars, lounges, bukas, hotel bars, and campus canteens. Run the demo on the owner's own phone. Put a QR card on his table, scan it, place an order, and show him the order arriving. It takes under a minute, and it is the whole pitch. Set the venue up before you leave. Load the menu, print the QR sheet, and put the cards on his three busiest tables. (A venue you activated but did not set up does not count.) Go back. Hand-hold the first week until staff are actually using it, then convert the venue to a paid plan. Recruit the first pilot venues into written case studies we can use publicly. Report daily numbers honestly and tell us what owners actually say about the price and the product. (We would rather hear it in week two than read it in churn.) Requirements: A minimum of 2 years or more of field sales where you opened your own doors; FMCG route sales, POS agent recruitment, telecom or fintech agent sales, distributor or van sales, or merchant acquisition. Evidence that you can walk into a business cold and leave with a decision. Tell us how many outlets you have a day and what you closed. Comfortable on your feet in Lagos markets and streets all day, every day. Confident enough with a smartphone to demo an app to someone who is not technical, and patient enough to set it up for him. Advantageous: You have sold to restaurants, bars, or food vendors before. You have worked in hospitality and know how a floor actually runs. You have recruited or managed POS agents or a merchant network. You have worked in an early-stage startup where nothing existed yet. Why this Role is Worth Taking: You open a market from zero, and the playbook carries your name on it. Commission on every venue you convert, with direct access to the founder and decisions made the same week. If this works, it becomes a permanent leadership role and the path of your personal growth. How Success is Measured: Your first 90 days, and there is nothing else on the scorecard: 60 venues activated on the free plan and genuinely using it. 15 of those converted to a paid plan with payment cleared. 3 written case studies from real Lagos venues. Visits, conversations, and sign-ups that never take an order do not count. Numbers come from our own system records, so there is nothing to self-report and nothing to argue about. Engagement Terms: Type: independent contractor engagement, project-based, not employment. Duration: 3 months with weekly activation targets. Converts to a permanent role on results. Location: Lagos, in the field. (This is not a remote or hybrid role.) Benefits: Monthly base within the advertised range depending on experience, plus commission on every venue you convert to a paid plan. (The commission structure is agreed upon at the interview.) Transport and airtime covered by the company. Review: Results reviewed weekly. If the agreed results are not being delivered, either party may end the engagement on seven days' written notice. Tax: You are responsible for your own tax and statutory obligations as an independent contractor. The company applies withholding tax where required.
