Key Responsibilities: Ensure field activities are conducted in accordance with relevant HSE procedures and industry standards. Collaborate with engineers, environmental specialists, surveyors, and other technical teams. Identify geological risks, formations, structures, and potential resource opportunities. Conduct geological field investigations, surveys, mapping, and site assessments. Maintain accurate records of field observations, samples, measurements, and findings. Assist with exploration, site characterization, and resource assessment activities. Collect, document, and analyze rock, soil, mineral, and other geological samples. Prepare geological reports, technical documentation, maps, and presentations. Interpret geological data, maps, logs, and technical information. Monitor drilling, sampling, and other field activities where required. Requirements: Experience: using geological maps, software, and technical reporting tools. Strong knowledge of geological mapping, sampling, field investigation, and data interpretation. Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. Professional certification or membership with a recognized geological body is an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability and willingness to work in the field and travel when required. B.Sc./HND in Geology, Applied Geology, or a related discipline. 2–4 years' relevant experience: in geology, exploration, construction, mining, oil & gas, or environmental services.
