We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Industrial Sanitation Officer (HSE / QA / QC Staff) Location: Abuja Job type: Full-time Job Summary The Industrial Sanitation Officer is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation across processing areas, production lines, equipment, cold storage facilities, utilities, and support infrastructure in compliance with SSOPs, GMP, HACCP, Halal requirements, and food safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper handling, storage, and application of approved cleaning chemicals and disinfectants. Assist Quality Assurance and Food Safety teams during inspections and audits. Report sanitation deficiencies, contamination risks, and maintenance concerns. Clean and sanitize processing equipment, tools, conveyors, and workstations. Maintain sanitation records and cleaning verification logs. Execute cleaning and sanitation schedules for production and non-production areas. Comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures. Support pest control, waste management, and environmental hygiene initiatives. Qualifications Training in food safety, hygiene, or sanitation practices will be an added advantage. Previous experience: in industrial sanitation, food processing, manufacturing, hospitality, healthcare, or related environments is preferred. Minimum of Secondary School Certificate (SSCE). Requirements: Ability to work in food processing and cold-chain environments. Physical fitness and attention to detail. Understanding of food hygiene and contamination prevention principles. Knowledge of industrial cleaning and sanitation procedures.
