We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: HSE Officer Location: Ikorodu, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Ensure emergency equipment, fire extinguishers, first-aid boxes, and emergency exits are properly maintained and accessible. Monitor the proper handling and disposal of waste, chemicals, and other hazardous materials. Monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Conduct and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Permit-to-Work activities. Report and investigate accidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions. Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and HSE awareness programmes. Support the implementation of HSE initiatives and continuous improvement activities. Requirements: Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills. Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, ISPON, OSHA, HSE Level 1–3, or equivalent. Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably within a manufacturing, fabrication, construction, oil & gas, or galvanizing environment. Bachelor's Degree/HND in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. ISO certification will be an added advantage. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safe work practices. Salary N300,000 monthly.
