Assess patients by taking medical history, measuring vital signs, and identifying healthcare needs. Administer medications, injections, immunisations, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately. Perform wound dressing, first aid, and other basic nursing procedures. Educate patients on medication use, disease prevention, healthy lifestyles, and treatment adherence. Monitor patients’ conditions and report significant changes to the appropriate healthcare provider. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation. Ensure proper infection prevention and control measures are followed at all times. Assist pharmacists in delivering patient-centred pharmaceutical care and health screening services. Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies within the facility. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and adequate stock levels within the nursing and treatment areas. Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) practising licence. Minimum of a Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution. Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience: (community pharmacy, outpatient clinic, or hospital experience: is an advantage). Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organisational and time management abilities. Basic computer literacy and experience: with electronic health records is an added advantage.
