They are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Procurement Manager Location: Enugu Employment Type: Full-time Function: Procurement & Supply Chain Level: Management Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Designated Executive Director The Opportunity The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle—from procurement planning, sourcing and tendering through evaluation, negotiation, award, contract/PO administration, supplier performance and close-out—while ensuring value for money without compromising aviation safety, security, quality, operational continuity or governance. We are seeking an experienced, commercially astute and ethically grounded Manager, Procurement to establish and lead a transparent, competitive, efficient and risk-controlled procurement function. Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement for airport operations, engineering & infrastructure, ICT/digital, safety & security, commercial services and capital projects. Enforce high standards of integrity, transparency, anti-bribery, conflict-of-interest management and ethical procurement. Ensure safety- and security-critical procurement meets approved technical, regulatory and operational requirements. Partner with Finance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, Safety, Security and Internal Audit to maintain strong controls and segregation of duties. Drive value-for-money, cost optimisation, lifecycle costing and resilient supply-chain solutions. Lead procurement digitalisation, analytics, reporting and performance dashboards. Lead competitive sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation and procurement governance. Develop and implement the Airport's Procurement Strategy, annual Procurement Plan and category-management framework. Establish robust supplier prequalification, due diligence, performance management and risk-rating processes. Requirements: CIPS, CPSM, CIPP, PMP/PRINCE2, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, Contract/Risk Management or relevant aviation procurement certification is highly desirable. Master's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (MBA), Logistics, Operations, Project Management, Finance or Engineering Management is desirable. Experience: in engineering, infrastructure, ICT, facilities, operational services and/or capital projects is strongly desirable. Strong strategic sourcing, category management, commercial negotiation, contract management, supplier-risk management, procurement analytics and e-procurement skills. Experience: in aviation, airports, infrastructure, construction, transportation, oil & gas, telecommunications, utilities or another complex 24/7 operating environment is highly advantageous. High integrity, commercial acumen, analytical ability, sound judgement, negotiation skills and the courage to challenge non-compliant practices. Proven experience: in competitive tendering, complex procurement, contract and supplier management. 8–12 years' progressive procurement/supply-chain experience, including at least 4–5 years in a management/supervisory procurement role.
