The successful candidate will assist with sample collection, preparation, basic laboratory testing, documentation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and cleaning of laboratory equipment and work areas. Label, record, and properly store samples and test results. Report abnormal results, contamination, or other quality issues to the supervisor. Support quality control activities and ensure samples are handled according to established procedures. Conduct basic laboratory tests under the supervision of the Laboratory Technician or Quality Control Officer. Assist with inventory and proper storage of laboratory reagents and materials. Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation. Assist in collecting and preparing samples of raw materials, production materials, and finished products for laboratory analysis. Follow all laboratory, health, safety, and environmental procedures. Requirements: Minimum of OND/SSCE in Science, Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Agricultural Science, or a related field. Willingness to work in a production/agro-industrial environment. Experience: in an agro-processing, feed mill, food processing, or agricultural laboratory is an added advantage.
