We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Station Cashier Locations: Awo Ommama & Owerri, Imo Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and accurately recording customer payments, reconciling daily sales, maintaining proper transaction records, and ensuring strict adherence to cash-handling and financial control procedures. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Cashier to support the financial and sales operations of our filling station. Key Responsibilities: Verify sales records against pump readings and transaction reports. Identify and promptly report shortages, overages, discrepancies, or suspicious transactions. Provide courteous and professional service to customers. Reconcile daily sales, cash collections, POS transactions, and other payment channels. Support other station administrative and finance-related activities as assigned. Maintain proper custody and security of cash and financial documents. Prepare and submit daily cash and sales reports. Receive and accurately process customer payments through cash, POS, transfers, and other approved channels. Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information. Ensure proper documentation of all cash movements and financial transactions. Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of all transactions. Ensure compliance with company cash-handling policies and station procedures. Work closely with the Station Manager and Finance team to resolve transaction discrepancies. Requirements: Good communication and customer service skills. Good numerical and reconciliation skills. 3 years and above experience: as a cashier, accounts assistant, sales cashier, or similar role. Experience: in a filling station or retail environment is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. High level of integrity, honesty, accountability, and confidentiality. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience: with POS systems and electronic payment channels. Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
