The role requires close collaboration with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, implement effective recruitment strategies, and build a strong talent pipeline. The Talent Acquisition Officer will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting qualified candidates to onboarding successful hires. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes while ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Screen CVs and shortlist qualified candidates based on role requirements. Administer candidate assessments and prepare evaluation reports. Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and direct search. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and recruitment needs. Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent. Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process. Monitor recruitment KPIs, including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and offer acceptance rate. Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs. Conduct competency-based interviews and coordinate interview schedules. Negotiate employment offers and coordinate onboarding activities. Maintain accurate recruitment records and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Ensure compliance with company recruitment policies and applicable labour laws. Requirements: Proven experience: managing end-to-end recruitment processes. Strong candidate sourcing skills across multiple recruitment channels. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field with 2 – 4 years' experience: in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience: conducting competency-based interviews. Good understanding of Nigerian labour laws and recruitment best practices.
