We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Mechanical Workshop Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our automotive mechanical workshop in Abuja. Key Responsibilities: Ensure proper use and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment. Diagnose and oversee repairs, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vehicles. Manage the day-to-day operations of the mechanical workshop. Supervise, coordinate, and motivate technicians and workshop staff. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workshop operating procedures. Ensure all jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high professional standard. Review and approve technical repair recommendations and estimates. Control workshop resources and minimize unnecessary costs and wastage. Maintain accurate workshop records, job cards, and maintenance reports. Work closely with the Service Advisors, Parts Department, and Management to ensure smooth operations. Monitor workshop productivity, job quality, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction. Identify training and development needs for workshop personnel. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years relevant experience: in automotive mechanical workshop operations. Experience: with modern vehicles and automotive diagnostic equipment. Previous experience: in a reputable automobile dealership, workshop, or automotive service centre is an advantage. Proven experience: managing a team of mechanics/technicians. Relevant technical qualification/certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
