We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Supply Chain Supervisor Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will supervise purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution activities, ensuring efficient flow of materials, goods, and information while maintaining supply reliability, cost efficiency, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities: Respond to operational disruptions, propose corrective actions, and maintain reliable supply operations. Supervise, lead, and train team members to ensure process accuracy, safety compliance, and productivity. Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of co-workers. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, QHSE requirements, and applicable regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Monitor supply chain performance using KPIs such as inventory turnover, lead times, fulfillment rates, and cost efficiency. Oversee daily operations across purchasing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. Coordinate with procurement, operations, sales, stores, and logistics teams to synchronize supply and demand. Prepare and submit weekly supply chain reports. Manage suppliers and service providers, evaluate their performance, and resolve supply-related issues. Report unsafe acts and conditions and participate in QHSE activities. Support compliance with all QHSE policies and procedures. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Requirements: Strong leadership and team management skills. Strong interpersonal, written, verbal communication, and negotiation skills. 5–7 years of relevant experience: in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related functions, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Knowledge of relevant QHSE standards and procedures. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills. Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Good computer skills. Strong persuasion and negotiation skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems. Experience: within the oil and gas industry will be an advantage. Ability to develop practical solutions and think creatively.
