We are seeking a technically competent and results-driven Process Engineer to optimize production processes, improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality. Key Responsibilities: Stay informed about relevant process engineering technologies, tools, and industry best practices. Develop and update process flow diagrams, process specifications, operating procedures, and technical documentation. Assist in capacity planning, production optimization, and evaluation of process constraints. Perform any other engineering duties assigned by management. Participate in equipment and process commissioning, validation, and performance assessments where required. Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with the Quality team to investigate product quality issues and implement process-based corrective actions. Monitor process parameters and ensure they remain within approved operating limits. Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Prepare process performance reports, improvement reports, and technical presentations for management. Ensure process changes are properly evaluated, documented, approved, and implemented. Ensure process improvement activities do not compromise product quality or HSE standards. Investigate process deviations, equipment-related process issues, and production losses and recommend appropriate solutions. Support the introduction, modification, and commissioning of production processes and equipment. Participate in the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process controls. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient process operating procedures and standards. Optimize production processes to improve productivity, yield, product quality, and cost efficiency. Work with Production and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot recurring process problems. Conduct process studies, trials, tests, and improvement projects as required. Identify opportunities to reduce raw material consumption, energy usage, waste, downtime, and production costs. Monitor compliance with operational, quality, safety, and environmental requirements. Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, losses, and opportunities for improvement. Train and provide technical guidance to production personnel on process improvements and operating procedures. Key Performance Areas Cost optimization. Bachelor's Degree or HND in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline. Ability to analyze production data and identify process improvement opportunities. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment. Strong understanding of production processes, process control, and continuous improvement principles. Knowledge of process simulation or engineering software is an advantage. Good technical report-writing and documentation skills. 2–5 years of relevant experience: in process engineering, manufacturing, production, or industrial operations. Experience: working in a manufacturing or process industry environment is highly desirable. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Relevant professional or technical certifications will be an added advantage.
