Min Qualification: Degree Experience: Level: Senior level Experience: Length: 6 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements: Responsibilities: Principal Accountabilities: Supports the HR & Admin Manager in developing the admin yearly budget and plan. Manages the Admin function to meet budget and other non-financial targets set by top management. Oversees the management of our client's camp covering: security of the employees residing at the camp, facility occupation, catering and facility management services, the various camp services, and maintenance of the facility in an operational condition in coordination with Facility Maintenance. Oversees the management of our client’s fleet covering vehicle financing, vehicle maintenance, vehicle insurance, driver management, fuel management, and health and safety management. Oversees the security management of the company relating to the physical safety of the company’s buildings, people, assets, and products. Oversees and manages all the government-related processes. Manages the company’s most complex and/or critical government relationships. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with government agencies and other regulatory authorities to facilitate communication and help advance the company’s business interests and image. Identifies and tracks KPIs for the Admin activities, and develops improvement plans and initiatives. Leads, directs, evaluates, and develops the company's Admin team to ensure that the admin strategies and objectives are achieved. Is responsible for the development, performance appraisal, and succession planning of all direct reports. Identifies a possible successor for self. Oversees and implements his/her development program(s) that support our client's objectives and foster a highly effective management and leadership structure. Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his/her direct manager. Communications and Working Relationships: Interfaces with HR & Admin Manager for all matters related to the admin activities. Works closely with all his/her reports to ensure proper execution of duties. Interfaces with official/legal bodies for official/legal processes and transactions. Requirements: BSc degree in business administration or equivalent degree. Minimum of 6 years of experience: in an Admin field with strong networks of relations in the Nigerian government bodies. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Strong leadership skills. Strong knowledge of Admin processes. Computer literacy, including knowledge of MS Office applications and basic software applications, and familiarity with the internet and email communications. ERP knowledge is a plus. English language fluency required. The job of the Admin Section Head requires local and international travel. The employee may be asked to relocate.
