Welding & Fabrication: Perform grinding, finishing, and dressing of completed welds where required. Fabricate pipe supports, brackets, base frames, sleeves, clamps, and other steel components required for project execution. Perform welding using appropriate processes, including SMAW/arc welding and other applicable welding methods. Carry out welding and fabrication works on fire protection pipework, steel supports, brackets, frames, and other structural components as required. Ensure accurate measurements, dimensions, alignment, and levels before and during fabrication. Cut, fit, align, tack, and weld pipes and steel components according to approved drawings and specifications. Fire Protection Installation Support: Support the installation of sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, fire suppression, and associated mechanical piping systems. Carry out pipe fabrication and welding in accordance with the approved installation methodology Material Management: Use welding materials, pipes, electrodes, steel sections, fittings, and other consumables responsibly. Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for visible defects, including cracks, porosity, undercut, poor penetration, and incomplete fusion. Ensure all welding and fabrication works meet approved project specifications and required quality standards. Health, Safety & Environmental: Comply strictly with company HSE policies and site safety procedures. Use appropriate PPE at all times, including a welding helmet, gloves, safety boots, protective clothing, and eye protection. Testing & Inspection Support: Rectify welding or fabrication defects identified during inspection. Support pressure testing and other inspection activities where required.
