The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the production process. Min Qualification: HND Experience Level: Entry level Experience Length: 2 years Language Requirement: English Working Hours: Full Time - 8 to 5 Applicant Location: Nigeria Job descriptions & requirements Responsibilities: Plan, schedule, and supervise daily print production activities to ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate prepress, printing, finishing, and packaging operations. Develop production schedules and allocate resources efficiently to maximize productivity. Monitor workflow and resolve production bottlenecks to ensure timely project completion. Ensure production targets and customer deadlines are consistently met. Ensure all printed materials meet customer specifications and company quality standards. Review artwork, proofs, and final outputs for accuracy and quality before delivery. Monitor print quality throughout the production process and implement corrective actions when necessary. Minimize production errors, rework, and material waste. Oversee the operation, maintenance, and servicing of printing and finishing equipment. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize machine downtime. Ensure all equipment is operated safely and according to manufacturer guidelines. Recommend equipment upgrades and process improvements to enhance efficiency. Monitor stock levels of paper, ink, plates, chemicals, and other production materials. Coordinate procurement of printing materials and consumables. Ensure efficient utilization of materials while reducing waste and production costs. Maintain accurate inventory records for production supplies. Supervise, train, and mentor machine operators, press operators, bindery staff, and production assistants. Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. Enforce the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports. Monitor production costs, machine utilization, and operational efficiency. Liaise with clients, graphic designers, sales teams, suppliers, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met. Provide production updates and recommend process improvements to management. Requirements: Minimum of an HND in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field. Proven years of experience in commercial printing or print production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of offset, digital, large-format, screen printing, and finishing processes. Experience with prepress, color management, print finishing, and quality assurance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and print production management software. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
