Vennote Technologies is building a next-generation Natural Language Understanding, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence products with a focus on Multimodal and Cross-Channel User Interfaces (phone, web, mobile, etc.) Are you a talented NLP or AI Engineer with strong technical skills and the ability to innovate, multitask, and work in an agile environment? Then, join our team for Product Development and Projects Implementations in Lagos Nigeria. Responsibilities: We are looking for you if you can: Improve (in performance, accuracy etc.) existing solution to NLP problems Gather and clean relevant datasets for training a chatbot. Demonstrate passion, excitement, and real interest in what we do while being respectful of others and fun to work with Build models to identify the user's intent or purpose behind their query. Research, experiment with and implement innovative approaches to named entity recognition, relationship extraction entity linking and classification Create predefined templates to structure responses based on identified intents and entities. Work with customer provided data to both evaluate and continuously iterate on NLP solutions ➢ Produce performant and production quality robust code following the best practices adopted by the product team Have an agile product mentality balancing between finding solutions that deliver high precision/recall, over simpler approaches that can give value to customers in shorter intervals. Proven experience: with: Deep Learning Frameworks (Pytorch preferably, Keras optionally) Python Use statistical models to generate more natural and diverse responses. ➢ Experience: extracting meaningful features from text data, such as n-grams, part-of speech tags, and named entities. Get involved in all stages of ML lifecycle Leverage a wide range of techniques from linguistic rules to transformers and deep neural networks in your day-to-day work. Optional: Experience: with chat or voice bots Experience: with web frameworks for building APIs with Python (e.g. FastAPI, Flask, Sanic) Experience: with Application Containerization method and Application Containerization Engines (e.g. Docker) Knowledge of low code frameworks You are: An NLP Engineer with more than 7 years of experience: ➢ Proficient in English, both verbal and written Quick to adjust inside a rapid-changing environment. Self-motivated, proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities ➢ Fun to work with and be around, like we are.
