Read more about this company Junior Auditor Job Type Full Time Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience 2 - 5 years Location Enugu Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit Job Summary The Junior Auditor will assist in conducting station audits, verifying financial and operational records, monitoring compliance with company policies, and identifying areas of risk, loss, or operational inefficiency. Key Responsibilities Assist in conducting routine and surprise audits across retail stations in Enugu Verify daily sales, cash collections, POS transactions, and bank lodgements. Reconcile fuel sales with pump readings, tank dips, and stock records. Review operational documents for accuracy and completeness. Participate in physical stock counts and asset verification exercises. Identify discrepancies, shortages, or irregular transactions and report findings. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. Prepare audit working papers and support the preparation of audit reports. Follow up on corrective actions arising from audit observations. Requirements Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in auditing, accounting, finance, or a related role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Good communication and report-writing skills. Willingness to travel within operational locations when required.
