Services include general outpatient, and in-patient clinics, maternity services, general and specialist surgery, laboratory services and public health/health and social care supports. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Community Health Extension Worker Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers Slot: 3 Openings Responsibilities: Conduct preliminary assessments; take vital signs; provide approved primary healthcare under the National Standing Orders; support antenatal and postnatal clinics; assist Nurse/Midwives during deliveries; provide health education; maintain records; and participate in shifts and outreach activities. Requirements: Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality and professional conduct. Willingness to undertake shift, weekend or night duties where required. CHEWs must work within their registered scope and must not replace Registered Midwives in duties professionally reserved for midwives. Verifiable employment history and references. Recognised Community Health qualification; current CHPRBN registration and practising licence; knowledge of the National Standing Orders; and relevant clinical experience. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Current professional registration and practising licence where applicable. Salary N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
