Reliable Steel and Plastic Industry Limited is seeking a highly motivated, intelligent, and career-driven Graduate Trainee to join our Production Department. The successful candidate will undergo structured practical training and gain hands-on exposure to various aspects of production operations while working alongside experienced production professionals. This role is an excellent opportunity for a young professional looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing, production management, factory operations, process improvement, quality management, and team supervision. Key Responsibilities: Promote good housekeeping, workplace safety, discipline, and 5S practices within the production area. Assist in identifying production bottlenecks, downtime, wastage, and operational challenges. Carry out other duties assigned by the Production Manager or designated supervisor. Assist with manpower planning, deployment, and effective utilization of production workers. Ensure production activities are carried out in accordance with established SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Assist in monitoring the proper handling and utilization of raw materials and production resources. Prepare or assist with daily production reports and communicate operational issues to management. Assist in supervising and coordinating daily production activities. Work closely with Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve production-related issues. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation. Monitor workers' productivity, attendance, punctuality, and compliance with company policies. Support the Production Supervisor in achieving daily and monthly production targets. Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to approved procedures. Requirements: Previous experience: in a plastic manufacturing company as a Supervisor, Factory Helper, Production Assistant, Team Lead, or similar role will be an added advantage. Must be willing to work in a fast-paced factory environment and operate shifts when required. Good leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to coordinate and work effectively with production workers. Must have successfully completed NYSC. Strong interest in manufacturing and production operations. Must demonstrate high levels of discipline, integrity, accountability, punctuality, and willingness to learn. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer applications. 0–2 years of experience, preferably with exposure to supervisory, production, factory, or team-management responsibilities. Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Production, Sciences, Management, or a related discipline. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines and targets.
