Identify potential environmental hazards, risks, and areas of non-compliance. Collect, analyze, and interpret environmental data including air, water, soil, waste, and other environmental parameters. Prepare environmental reports, assessments, compliance documentation, and technical reports. Stay updated on environmental regulations, industry best practices, and emerging sustainability trends. Monitor environmental impact of company operations and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Develop and implement environmental management and monitoring plans. Maintain accurate records of environmental monitoring activities and regulatory documentation. Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Liaise with regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders when required. Monitor waste management, pollution control, environmental protection, and sustainability initiatives. Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, permits, and industry standards. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree / HND in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Geography, or a related discipline. Professional certification or membership with a recognized environmental or related professional body is an added advantage. Knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) processes is an added advantage. Ability to conduct fieldwork and work effectively in different environmental and operational conditions. Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. 2–4 years' relevant experience: in environmental management, environmental consulting, HSE, oil & gas, construction, manufacturing, or a related industry. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, pollution control, waste management, and environmental monitoring. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant environmental assessment/data analysis tools. Experience: preparing environmental reports and compliance documentation.
