We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Pharmacist Location: Iddo - Ebute Metta, Lagos Shift Schedule: Alternate days Job Summary We are seeking a licensed and customer-focused Community Pharmacist toensure the safe and ethical dispensing of medications, provide pharmaceutical advice, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and security of the pharmacy. Maintain accurate patient medication records and pharmacy documentation. Counsel patients on the safe use of prescription and over-the-counter medications, including dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient pharmacy operations. Dispense prescription medications accurately and in accordance with physicians’ prescriptions. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and professional standards governing pharmacy practice. Participate in health promotion, disease prevention, and medication therapy management programs in the pharmacy’s community. Handle customer inquiries and resolve medication-related concerns professionally. Monitor inventory levels, order medications and supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (Pharm ) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). Minimum of 2-3 vyears’ experience: in a communitypharmacy. Current license to practice issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN). NYSC completion certificate or exemption (where applicable). Skills & Competencies: Good organizational and inventory management skills. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong ethical standards and professionalism. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management. Excellent communication and patient counselling skills. Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
