We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to oversee the organization’s HR operations and support the development of a high-performing workforce. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain effective employee performance management systems. Work closely with department heads to identify staffing and organizational development needs. Advise management on HR matters, workforce planning, compensation, and employee engagement. Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives. Manage the full recruitment and selection process, including interviews, onboarding, and employee orientation. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation. Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian labour laws and company policies. Monitor attendance, leave, payroll inputs, and other employee-related processes. Develop staff training, learning, and career development initiatives. Manage employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally. Prepare HR reports and provide management with insights on workforce trends. Promote a positive workplace culture and initiatives that improve employee retention and productivity. Requirements: Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment and labour regulations. Strong leadership and people-management abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Good analytical and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, or a related field. Proven experience: in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. 5–8 years of proven HR experience, preferably within financial services, banking, fintech, insurance, or a related industry. Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is an advantage. High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
