The SPPO liaises with government agencies and stakeholders on regnlatory matters on behalf of the Polytechnic. The Senior Physical Planning Officer is required to oversee physical development plans, and land 4, use compliance. He will also prepare technical reports on physical projects, including buildings. Qualifications The candidate should have a good Bachelor Degree in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture and Building Technology. Candidate must be a members of a professional body such as Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), Council for the Registration of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN), the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, the Architectural Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA). Master's Degree or Above in Architecture or be a Corporate Membership of Nigeria Institute of Builders or like professional bodies. The candidate must have at least six year post qualification experience, preferably in a tertiary institution. A Master Degree will be an advantage. CONTEDISS 11.
