Read more about this company NFE Project Officer Job Type Contract Qualification BA/BSc/HND Experience: Location Abuja Job Field Project and Program Management The Role Supports successful delivery of the NFE portfolio in Nigeria through implementation of NFE programmes and projects, including Youth Connect, in compliance with British Council policies and procedures. Responsible for financial administration, reporting and data collection, operational project delivery and managing relations with delivery partners. Accountabilities Managing self and others Demonstrates strong accountability and independence by effectively managing vendor performance while successfully prioritizing and delivering work to project deadlines. Financial Support Managed project financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure reporting, ensuring accurate financial oversight and compliance with audit requirements: through timely maintenance of financial records. Maintained strong vendor relationships by ensuring timely payment processing and adherence to British Council financial policies, procedures, and financial management standards. Project Management Managed programme operations through data management, quality assurance, monitoring analysis, reporting, and grants administration, ensuring compliance with funder requirements: and internal governance standards. Coordinated procurement, events, and training delivery while supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives, effective records management, and broader programme implementation across the Cultural Engagement team. Relationship and Stakeholder Management Effectively manages stakeholder, partner, vendor, and supplier relationships, ensuring strong collaboration, accountability, and the timely delivery of agreed services and outcomes.
