We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Position: Inventory Officer Job Location: Lagos Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Officer to manage the company's inventory, ensure accurate stock records, and support efficient warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, tracking, and issuing inventory while maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing losses. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record all incoming inventory and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and/or digital inventory systems. Monitor stock levels and notify management when inventory reaches reorder levels. Conduct routine stock counts and periodic physical inventory audits. Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to prevent damage or loss. Issue materials and products according to approved requests. Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, and monthly inventory summaries. Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure inventory accuracy. Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store or warehouse environment. Assist in implementing inventory improvement initiatives and cost-saving measures. Requirements: Minimum of an OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or a related field. 1 - 3 years of experience: in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software is an added advantage. Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: Experience: using ERP or inventory management systems. Knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse best practices.
