A leading equipment rental company is seeking a highly competent and strategic Account Management Officer to oversee key client relationships in the rental sector. You will be responsible for driving client retention, ensuring excellent service delivery, and growing revenue across our equipment rental portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Support & Negotiations: Collaborate with senior leadership to evaluate commercial opportunities, support contract negotiations, and structure profitable client agreements. Financial Oversight & Reporting: Track account revenue, monitor billing and collections, manage account forecasts, and ensure accurate financial reporting for assigned client portfolios. Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and guide the internal account management team to build a high-performance, customer-centric department. Account Management & Retention: Serve as the primary point of contact for key client accounts, building strong, long-lasting relationships and ensuring high retention rates. Cross-Functional Alignment:Partner with operations, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery and prompt resolution of client issues. Requirements: Technical Skills: Strong understanding of account profitability, contract management, revenue forecasting, and client risk management. Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or ICAN qualification is an added advantage but not required. Core Competencies: High integrity, exceptional analytical ability, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and the capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience: in an Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, or senior commercial role. Experience: in equipment rental, logistics, construction, or engineering is a strong advantage. Systems Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (financial/commercial modeling, Pivot Tables) and proficiency in CRM and ERP software.
