We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Shipping Compliance Officer Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full Time Responsibilities: Monitor crew certification and competency compliance. Coordinate safety drills, compliance activities, and staff awareness programs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance operational safety, quality, environmental performance, and continuous improvement. Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance across the organization. Participate in emergency response activities as required. Monitor compliance with applicable maritime regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements. Support vessel readiness for regulatory, statutory, and customer inspections. Analyze inspection findings and compliance trends and prepare periodic management reports. Maintain and update compliance records, risk registers, and management system documentation. Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS). Conduct internal audits, inspections, and compliance assessments for office operations and vessels. Assist in incident investigations and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
