We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Janitor Location: Lekki, Lagos Employment Type: Part-time Job Summary We are seeking a diligent and reliable Janitor Officer to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and presentability of our mental health rehabilitation facility in Lekki. This role is essential to creating a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Submit requisitions for cleaning supplies when stock is low Immediately clean spills, broken glass, or hazardous waste to maintain safety Wash bedsheets, patient linens, and other laundry as required Carry out other cleaning duties as assigned by nurses, clinicians, or management Promptly report deficiencies, damages, or repair needs to management Carry out monthly deep-cleaning (ceiling fans, cobwebs, grass-cutting, indoor/outdoor spaces) Ensure all bathrooms and toilets (patient and staff) remain sanitary at all times Ensure offices and workspaces are fully cleaned and ready by 8:00 a.m. daily Manage waste properly (covered bins, odour control, tidy waste areas) Dust, sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain all designated facility areas Clean all patient areas,bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges, ward areas, and other inpatient spaces Conduct regular spot checks to ensure all areas remain clean, safe, and presentable Sweep the compound daily and keep the hospital environment litter-free What We're Looking For Previous housekeeping/cleaning experience, ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Willingness to work shifts (including early mornings, where required) Basic understanding of hygiene and infection-control practices is an advantage. Salary N200,000 - N250,000 per month gross.
